A voyaging Michelle Williams stars in Wild Nothing’s video for “Paradise,” a cloudy, skyborne clip that also features a voiceover from Williams (she’s reading from Iris Murdoch’s A Word Child). Williams reportedly had a choice between three Wild Nothing songs and she chose “Paradise;” make of that what you will. Matt Amato directs.
Nocturne is out now on Captured Tracks.

Great video for a great song; all of Nocturne is pretty great actually.
One of my favorite tracks of one of my favorite albums!
It’s ‘A Word Child’.
Also, beautiful song.
good video!
i wonder what the other songs were. i think “Through the Grass” would lend really well for a video.
I’m so glad Michelle Williams has become something more than “that blonde girl from Dawson’s Creek”. Her indie movies are consistently great, and this video ain’t bad either.
I like the seagull drum fill around 4:00.
At first, sounded like The Wake (especially the keyboards string). Nice tracks tho..
