New York electro-dreampop duo School Of Seven Bells released their sharp album Ghostory earlier this year, and in a couple of weeks they’ll follow it up with a new EP called Put Your Sad Down. “Secret Days,” a track from that EP, is an atypically buoyant and fun piece of zero-gravity pop, with all of the group’s production sheen but none of its ponderous atmosphere. Download it below.
Put Your Sad Down is out 11/13 on Vagrant.

Love it. I’ve enjoyed SVIIB’s last two albums but have missed the tribal rhythms that were featured in Alpinisms, especially in a song like Prince of Peace. Definitely nice hearing a dance component back in this band’s music.
