French turntable quartet Birdy Nam Nam have a keen sense for mixing massive electronic compositions with hip-hop sensibilities. The foursome recently lent a hand on Long.Live.A$AP. track “Wild For The Night” — a nice way to kick off 2013 — and continue on here with their own release “Defiant Order.” The track is a consistently driving EDM force that almost simulates what it might sound like to be catapulted into outer space. But if that kind of crunchiness is not your bag, Huntsville, Alabama production duo and former G-Side guardian angels Block Beattaz take the track for a spin and soften it up with some southern hospitality.
