Last month, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs announced the impending release of their new album Mosquito, teasing it with a quick trailer video. They’re still keeping most of the actual sounds on the album secret, but they’ve finally parted with one more teaser. It’s got 49 seconds of a new song called “Always,” which, judging by this, sounds like an absolutely gorgeous wash of melody.
Also, the band will be playing at least one SXSW show: NPR Music’s 3/13 showcase at Stubb’s, which also features Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds. I know what I’m doing that night! Watch the teaser below.

Nice.. first teaser’s all dark: down and dirty rock and roll like most of Fever To Tell, second teaser’s all bright: dreamy and beautiful like some of It’s Blitz! i likey yyy’s styley.
