I’m not sure anyone saw this one coming, but The-Dream’s latest track — on which he repeatedly insists, “I am R&B” — isn’t an R&B song at all. Rather, it’s a hard-as-fuck rap rant with screwed-up vocals and a hectic synthetic beat that hits like an adrenaline needle to the heart. Who knew this guy had this in him? And is all this about Drake? It might be about Drake. Listen below.
