Every installment of the Record Club makes it seem more and more like the best thing since the Take Away Shows, and it’s great to see them abandoning the obnoxious B&W pixelation of the Velvet Underground and Skip Spence sessions.
Yes, these are great. looking forward to “devil inside”. I would love to be in on these sessions, why didn’t Beck invite me to join his record club?
I hope “Mediate” gets a video like the original.

what a great idea. Seems like a really hesitant performance though, like everyone is a bit unsure if they should be there and what to do. Even though sonically it comes off great.
Wow this is really, really great. The whole Record Club is a cool idea, and it’s nice to see them pull it off so well. I didn’t think I would like this as much as I do!
I feel like Beck is one of the most important musicians of our time. A chameleon he is. From ’93 to these Record Club recordings, his contributions always keep my interest.
