Bloc Party spin-off Kele Okereke pumped iron then ran straight to the dance-floor with his “Tenderoni.” Now we have a couple additional tracks from the XXXChange-produced The Boxer. “Rise” is an anthemic pep talk, not a PiL cover. “Walk Tall” takes things down a couple notches via its hand-clapping chant-along, but it’s also about puffing out your chest, realizing your inner strength, etc.
The Boxer is out 6/21 in the UK via Witchita/Polydor and the next day in the States via Glassnote.

Tendoroni had a slow build, but nonetheless solidly good, new tracks sound interesting, looking forward to the the album
Load failed on both files.
rise almost sounds like a postal service song, man i miss that side project
Hi, your mp3 interface doesn’t work on Google Chrome anymore (it worked last week). It still works on IE, though.
I’m really liking rise. but walk tall ends up sounding like a remix of believe by the chemical brothers. i really don’t know if i like this new direction or not..
damn… amazing
