The maiden voyage for a song called “Virgins,” a new cut Chris Chu and his band of benders debuted for a La Blogotheque session attended almost exclusively by young folks with stars in their eyes. The dreamy expressions are perhaps a mere response to the song, though, which is itself lovely and forlorn, gently strummed and harmonized, a melancholic ramble fit for a proper morning bender.

This is surprisingly great
youre surprisingly great
really great song. at first i thought they were playing Excuses and introducing it as a new song. kinda lame how he didn’t say “we wrote this one a few days ago”. i get it, you write the songs.
youre lame
love this song ♫♪
i saw them last night and they played a 45 mins set and capped it off with this song as on encore. as lovely as it is… i was really disappointed by how short their set was. they have 2 albums worth of material
still, pretty song.
youre a 45 min set
Lovely

The description of the video is that the audience had “dreamy expressions”. It looked to me like anytime someone in the audience had a camera pointed in their direction, they became noticeably apprehensive about it. Understandable in that tight space i guess. Still, whoever edited that for Blogotheque, weird choice of crowd shots? I could be making this up…
Beautiful song. Love the 2:51 spot “speak up” chorus segment.
I would still put on Boarded Doors over Excuses or this any day
why bring excuses into it.
well that was terrible. All those people look bored.
youre terrible
Hmmm… very interesting. Never heard of them before, but I think I like it. Definitely a worthy download in my book.
