Brian Eno - Small Craft On A Milk Sea

“2 Forms of Anger” shows up toward the middle of Brian Eno’s forthcoming Warp debut Small Craft On A Milk Sea. It’s a good track — percussive, atmospheric, and slicingly No New York in the guitars with a ton of forward momentum. Maybe the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame will finally give him a call.

Small Craft On A Milk Sea is out 11/2 via Warp. It’ll be available in various editions.

  1. We should all chip to buy MGMT the £250 deluxe edition. They’ve had a pissy week.

really excited for this album, and even more so now. I wanted to say it sounds somewhat like liars, but I feel dirty comparing him to anyone.

  2. So when are Brian Eno and Scott Walker going to collaborate on a deeply unsettling album that stares long into the post-middle-age abyss? If the rest of the album is anything like this, I’ll be enjoying it as a double-feature with The Drift while I drink a glass of whiskey and tremble at the inevitability of time.

But to be clear: I do sincerely enjoy this and look forward to the rest of the album.

  3. As ever, Eno creates stunning work…
