Colorado’s Woodsman grow deeper and more expansive with each dispatch. I was also going to say “darker,” but “Insects,” the looping opening track from their forthcoming sophomore album Rare Forms, has a brightness to it that makes me think they’re singing about fireflies. Nice to see a new angle on their nighttime excursions.
