
Last night Greg Dulli & Co. put their backs into “On The Corner,” one of a number of rockers from the new Twilight Singers album Dynamite Steps. Dulli’s voice remains a ragged force. Maybe more importantly, the man can still wear sunglasses in the dark and not look like a douche.
Dynamite Steps is out via Sub Pop.

Finally something cool. Dulli’s voice has held up. Good album also.
Agreed, and nice to see Philip Seymour Hoffmann on guitar.
If by Dulli’s voice “holding up”, you mean that he has maintained the ability to SING NEARLY EVERY NOTE COMPLETELY OFF KEY, then you’re totally right.
I think the lack of douchiness wearing sunglasses is directly related to his Roy Orbison haircut. Maybe that’s the magical combination for undouchy glasses wearing
