Wild Beasts just announced their third album, Smother, and BBC1 Radio debuted the first single “Albatross,” last night on Zane Lowe’s show. From what I’ve heard Smother will be a mellower, subtler version of their sound (depraved rock/funk cabaret). Richard Formby, who co-produced their last album Two Dancers, also co-produced this record. Singers Hayden Thorpe and Tom Fleming often trade off vocals, but here they’re in sweet harmony:

This is the most excited I’ve been since The King Of Limbs was announced!!

Extremely, extremely excited for this one. Two Dancers was criminally under-appreciated, as is the band in general.
Loved two dancers, love this, cant wait for the new album. Such an amazing band
100% love for this group of talent, always…
Seriously cannot wait!
