tUne-yArDs - "Bizness" Video

Bizness,” the excellent first single from tUnE-yArDs’ w h o k i l l, now has an excellent, colorful video. It starts out in a classroom filled with children wearing Merrill Garbus’s face paint and feathers before moving to a room full of adults doing dance moves to the song. Garbus joins them for the latter part. Director Mimi Cave has a background in dance and choreography, which she fully takes advantage of here: the inventive dances include orderly marches and chaotic tumbling bodies. But even the tumbling has some order to it — the dancers’ body paint and color bars match up as they toss and roll over each other. There’s some amazing face choreography at the end, too. Please stick around to witness it:

  1. I can’t help but like this song.

Also, Stereogum, it would be nice if I could log-in to comment without disrupting the video playback. Thanks.
