
The name of Swedish duo I Break Horses could be a Smog reference. It doesn’t say. Either way, Maria Lindén and Fredrik Balck’s sound is altogether different: The listed influences are My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive, and Jesus & Mary Chain, but you’re more likely to think of an escalating M83 transition or, maybe, a lighter Blanck Mass.
