It takes some figuring, but EMA and Nika Roza Danilova do manage to cover Tommy James and the Shondells’ “Crimson & Clover.” Their version’s loose, playful, and they’re maybe pulling from the spirit of Joan Jett’s update. The collaboration happened a couple of nights ago at the High Noon Saloon in Madison, Wisconsin. “Put a lot of reverb on it”:
