Perhaps you already watched Radiohead’s The King of Limbs: Live From The Basement when it aired on YouTu… er, Spain’s Canal+. But if you live in America, like some of us Americans do, you’ll be glad to hear the program will be broadcast on Palladia this Saturday 7/23 at 9PM, with an encore on sister channel MTV2 a week later. Radiohead note on Dead Air Space, “Apologies for the delay getting From The Basement shown in the UK: the original broadcaster decided not to show it, but we are working on it getting it shown on another channel.” Until then we’ve got pretty photos from the show in the gallery above, and yes Thom is “dancing” in one of them.

guys..canal + is a french tv channel, not spanish…In Europe we make fun of americans for not knowing a thing about Europe/Asia/ Africa (remember sara palin “africa is a country”?) … do not fall into the cliche’ you guys are better than that…sorry for being a B***
The show – that we all saw on youtube anyway – is lovely, a very beautiful moment…

In America we don’t acknowledge Europeans enough to make fun of them.
The fact that you’re a Eurepean who thinks Americans don’t know anything about other countries (and their TV stations?) makes you a cliche of Europeans. Also, 99.9% of us, including children and mentally handicapped individuals, are smarter than Sarah Palin, so there’s that.
