File this under “whuh?,” but a remix of Lady Gaga’s “Yoü And I” by British soft rockers Wild Beasts surfaced this morning. Those familiar with the Beasts’ work can certainly discern the band’s influences on the treatment of the track, which weaves in a lot of atmosphere and a spare piano line. Check it out below.

This is excellent. Not ashamed to say I’ve probably listened to Smother and Born This Way in equal amounts. Im also guessing ill probably be down voted a good 11 times for this comment.

The remix is infinitely better than the original. I wonder if Gaga knows that she is making Amy Grant music now.
