For a dude whose whole ethos is basically getting really, really stoned, NOLA’s Curren$y is a remarkably nimble and hard-working rapper. Lyrically, he crams as many rhymes into his zonked-out, atmospheric beats as possible, he tweets like a fiend and frankly, puts a ton of high-quality stuff out for free. Though his last mixtape Weekend At Burnie’s has only been out a second, here comes Verde Terrace. Fair enough. Jetlife!
