Today Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds released to radio another cut from their self-titled debut. You heard “The Good Rebel” a little while back; both are like, totally Noel Gallagher songs, replete in arena hooks and general Oasisness. Argue about which Beatles riffs Gallagher steals in the comments.
Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds is out 10/17 on Sour Mash.

I feel like the pre-movie radio narrator dude is about to come in and and be like, “THAT was a new cut from Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds…” Who’s with me?
A Day In A Life?
i’m wrong i think :-/
Was this really released on radio???
It sounds like crap.
Not the song, the recording.
It seems to me that someone sneakily recorded the actual track from a phone.
You bastards!
Finally we see who was the REAL talent in Oasis. Really.

better quality
It has a soaring chorus, a melody that you can’t get out of your head, crunchy Revolver-esque guitars, and the lyrics don’t seem to mean much of anything at all. Classic Oasis.
Yes,,opening riff is “I am the Walrus”, in the middle, when he sing “Aaaaaaa”, its similar to “A Day in a Life”
But, it’s genius of Noel, he can make entire of this song so different from beatles
Whether or not his theft of Beatles parts is deliberate (he grew up listening to them a lot, so it’s only natural that a lot of it would sneak in), I think it’s plain to see that Noel’s talent as a pop songwriter still puts him up there with the best. Maybe parts are lifted from elsewhere, but the song is still his. I, for one, am very excited about the album. MCFC forever.
Him and his brother should make up
