Two of the bigger, more divisive names from Stereogum’s 40 Best New Bands Of 2011 list come together on this remix, in which London dance&B transmorpher Jamie Woon reworks “Video Games,” the luminous breakout single from music-blog flashpoint Lana Del Rey. Woon does a lot of pitch-shifting and bass-dropping without much regard for the atmosphere of the original track or, for that matter, of his own solo tracks, like the great “Night Air.” Listen below.
