Brooklyn’s North Highlands released their debut full-length this week. It’s the sort of intricately homespun and delicate indie-pop I’d call “polite” in an unpatronizing, earnest, and positive way, though it is on a painful post-CMJ morning like this that it stops being polite and starts being soothing balm for a battered brain. Think Twin Sister with less Stereolab and a more gentle breeze, and stream all eleven of Wild One‘s tracks below. “Lion Heart” and the previously posted “Benefits” are nice starting points, if you need some.
If you’d like to own it, click over to Bandcamp and put down $8.
