As a bonus track on the Japanese edition of their self-titled debut album, British fuzz-rockers Yuck included a cover of “Natsu Nandesu,” a 1971 song from the Japanese folk-rock band Happy End. Yuck’s slightly-grungier version features a lead vocal from bassist Mariko Doi, and it’s her first time singing lead on a Yuck song. Listen below.
The Japanese edition of Yuck is out now on Pachinko.

It’s pretty overwhelming how many solid tracks this band has released this year between their debut and their b-sides. It seems endless at this point.
they’re taking the lil wayne approach to indie rock…song, song, song, song, song, etc etc etc
