Witch house purveyors oOoOO return this spring with a new EP, Our Loving Is Hurting Us, for Tri Angle Records. The song we have today is a wispy, ominous track with a stuttering backbeat, Butterclock’s vocals adding another layer of still, hazy incantations. Download “NoWayBack” after the jump.

I didn’t think last year’s EP got enough attention, and since then, I’ve been wondering what the future holds for witchhouse. This is obviously more tuneful, which isn’t a bad thing because if the genre wants to keep thriving, it needs to evolve.
Most of oOoOO’s stuff has been a lot more melodic than other witch house I’ve heard, and while I’m not sure about 99% of witch house acts, this guy’s definitely got talent. I am super psyched that he has more tunes coming out soon.
How I enjoyed that first EP. This guy and Holy Other are awesome. Hell, anything Tri Angle puts out is solid gold.
