Awesome. Thanks Stereogum. Wait, how the hell did you get the embed code from guardian? I can’t seem to be able to steal it. lol. Kidding. This sounds so good. Heartfelt, delicate, emotional and tender.
I can’t decide how I feel about the seeming lack of resolve in many of the songs. It sounds a bit held back, or restrained to me, like the songs are cut short.
I really like how it sounds though, and maybe that kind of restraint is why I like it.
I don’t know what it is about this album, but I think it is perfect, and every time I listen to it, I think it is even better. It’s the kind of album that I want everyone to love just as much as I do, and I get worried to think some might not like it.
It’s just so MOVING.
raw and haunting. delicate but arresting. sobering. can’t get it out of my ears.
This is a work of art & poetry, I cannot stop listen to it. If you liked learning you going to love this even more.
