Nashville veterans Lambchop now have a video for their beautifully sprawling seven-minute country-soul ramble “Gone Tomorrow,” and it’s a good one. In director Zack Spiger‘s clip, Lambchop frontman Kurt Wagner drives a massively bearded buddy, played by real-life wrestler Josephus Brody, so he can compete in a local small-time wrestling league. Fellow wrestler Wolfie D also stars, and as Stereogum’s resident wrestling dork, I obviously loved it. Watch the video and download the song below.
Lambchop’s new album Mr. M is out 2/21 on Merge. In related news, wrestling is so awesome.

Tremendous!
The word gets used a lot, but Lambchop is one of the most underrated things in the world today.
Needs more reverb and synth and ironic detachment. Oh, wait, it needs none of those things and I agree entirely with ‘oh.’
