The psychedelic Pittsburgh analog experimentalists contribute a thick layer of dandelion gum to Love 2‘s pastoral, carefree “Sing Sang Sung.” Black Moth Super Rainbow’s teeming fuzz keeps the song pleasant, but does bring a bit of darkness to the picnic. Or, more accurately, a bit of barometric pressure. It’d go well with the animated mushroom-sprouting video, of course. There’s currently no commercial release date planned for the remix, but you can soak it up here.
Love 2 is out via Astralwerks.

I like that early Madonna meets Lo-FiSly’s Riot aesthetic…I wish they had more faith in the song…and didn’t rely on the old feather/anvil trick…(don’t like the chorus)
Hey man f you. I’m jamming out to this remix. Ballz to the walllz.
Black Moth only sound really good when they’re not the ones singing. Their best song to date is the remix of Laura Burhenn’s “Just for the Night”.
BMSR is the most interesting band around today.
Fuck Yes! Is this a BMSR remix or a Tobacco remix tho?
Yea, though they’re difficult to distinguish, if I had to guess…this seems more like tobacco. Anyway, this is probably my least favorite song on Love 2, so it’s nice to hear a remix that I like more than the original
this is not a tobacco remix. this is a bmsr remix. good track though, better than the original Air track.
Tobacco and BMSR are the same thing. It’s all composed by Tom Fec (Tobacco) on his own.
