De La Soul – “Trainwreck”
Last year, the contemplative rap veterans De La Soul raised themselves $600,000 in Kickstarter money to make a new album. The resulting album, And The Anonymous Nobody, was originally slated to come out last week, but the group had to push its release back to August. They did, however, share a consolation prize, a surprise-release four-song EP called For Your Pain And Suffering. And now, the gently funky “Trainwreck,” one of the tracks from that EP, has made it to the streaming services of the world. Listen to it below, via The FADER.
And The Anonymous Nobody is now slated to arrive 8/26.
