As a certified Hater lover, I'm happy to know their new album Mosquito is less than a month away. Lead single "This Guy?" was good, and "Angel Cupid" was even better. Now we get a pair of seemingly interrelated tracks to whet our appetites.
Those songs are "Stinger" and "Stung Again." Regarding the former, Caroline Landahl says, "I’ve got no idea what a vampire’s brain fever feels like, but I thought it might be similar to heartache, and that’s the essence of it all." Those hard-thwacking drums could certainly be mistaken for the thudding of a vampire headache, but I don't imagine it sounds so pretty in between Dracula's ears.
As for "Stung Again," we get huge, wide-open guitar strums and what sounds like big feelings to match. The drama is high on this one. Hear both songs below.
