Sid Wilson, who has been the turntablist and keyboardist for nu metal greats Slipknot since 1998, was reportedly dismissed from the band last Friday. It was the latest departure of a longtime member after the recent exits of original percussionist Chris Fehn, original keyboardist Craig Jones, and longtime drummer Jay Weinberg.

Slipknot never comment when they fire a member, but TMZ has been going wall to wall on this one. According to the outlet's unnamed sources within the Slipknot camp, Wilson's firing had been brewing for a long time due to the way he treated his bandmates. It's unclear exactly what that poor treatment entailed. The sources tell TMZ that Slipknot were planning to announce Wilson's departure this week and were frustrated that they lost control of the narrative when the outlet reported on the firing Friday. TMZ also tracked down Wilson on the streets of Los Angeles on his way to a recording studio. He didn't comment when asked if he'd been fired from Slipknot.

In yet another post on this matter, TMZ pointed out that Kelly Osbourne, who has a child with Wilson but recently called off their engagement, posted cryptic Instagram stories in the wake of Wilson's reported firing. "Wake the fuck up take some responsibility I will not take your shit anymore," she wrote. "I want to be happy and I have a beautiful son to raise. Leave me alone. let me heal. I can't protect you from yourself anymore." In a separate story, she wrote, "Also while I'm at it can I have my dogs back and all my possessions. Oh yeah and maybe some child support?" She also posted several messages about protecting her child.
