Mikal Cronin – “Change” Video
Mikal Cronin’s video for “Change,” one of the many delightfully fuzzed-out power-pop songs on his truly excellent new album MCII, is probably the best alienated-kid-at-the-house-party music video since Jimmy Eat World’s “The Middle.” In this one, directed by Claire Marie Vogel, Cronin plays for a house full of punks while an actual invisible man wanders around, looking for some kind of connection but seemingly unable to find it. It’s got more heart than probably any other video you’ll see this month, and it’s below.
MCII is out now on Merge.
