For our very own 2012 Band To Watch honorees Greys are about to release their Repulsion EP, the follow-up to last year’s full-length debut If Anything. We’ve already heard “The Voyeur” and “I’d Hate To Be An Actor,” and like those, the full EP is in keeping with the Toronto band’s fiery rock stylings. Repulsion drops right before Halloween, which is fitting: Greys’ heavy post-hardcore is a soul-blazing venture not unlike a dive into a red-hot underworld. It’s pretty heavy stuff, so strap on your life jacket and hold on tight to the railings. “I used to have more interesting things to say/ but it’s all so boring,” vocalist Shehzaad Jiwani laments on “Nothing Means Anything,” but Greys are anything but.
