But he’s not the only one. “What A Catch, Donnie,” the third single from the band’s forthcoming fifth studio album Folie à Deux features a whole case of characters singing lines from various Fall Out Boy songs. In an especially meta move, Costello handles Folie‘s second single, “Headfirst Slide Into Cooperstown On A Bad Bet.” Other crooners include Hall & Oates fan Travis McCoy of Gym Class Heroes (“Sugar, We’re Goin’ Down”), Panic At The Disco’s Brendon Urie (“Dance, Dance”), ex-Midtown dude Gabriel Saporta (“Grand Theft Autumn/Where Is Your Boy”), The Academy Is…’s William Beckett (“Growing Up”), etc. Right, Costello is sorta odd man out among a bunch of Decaydancers. Listen.
Between this, Momofuku, and his work with Lucinda Williams, Jenny Lewis, and Colbert, Feist, and Toby Keith, Elvis certainly hasn’t left the building.
Folie à Deux is out 12/16 via Decaydance/Island/Fueled By Ramen.

I hate that when I hear the words “Fall Out Boy,” I now automatically think of a mediocre pop-punk band instead of Radioactive Man’s sidekick.
“The goggles, they do nothing!”

Sounds pretty awesome to me. I think FOB’s new album will be great
that’s unfortunate.
also hows this for a sentence: “the THIRD single from the band’s FORTHcoming FIFTH studio album .” wow that mashed my mind grapes, i had to read that 3 times!
As a big Elvis fan, that sucks. Why’d he do that?
Fall Out Boy = Star Jones belly button of Alt Rock.
Fall Out Boy + Elvis Costello = Star Jones belly button (of Alt Rock) with Elvis Costello hanging out in it.
but why?
$$$?
Fall out boy rocks! If you don’t agree you dont have a brain, or a good taste in music.
