Men's Vogue has an excerpt from Black Postcards: A Rock & Roll Romance (out 3/13), the new book by former Galaxie 500/Luna frontman Dean Wareham. It's an honest look at a critically lauded, commercially neglected decade his band spent in cheap hotels, before dissolving (along with Dean's marriage) in 2004. Of course, Dean and ex-Jem singer Britta are now a married, musical duo. Unclear if Ms. Phillips still has, as the piece mentions, "the best visible panty line in rock." We'll always have Penthouse.
