The Faint's fifth full-length Fasciinatiion is out 8/5 on new imprint blank.wav. You can stream lead track "The Geeks Were Right" at their MySpace (via P4K). Listening, it's unclear what the geeks saw in the future besides sci-fi clichés and a plodding pre-programmed beat. What's clearer -- as even the label name suggests -- is that the Faint 2008 are shooting blanks.
