Last week in San Francisco, I did something I rarely do ... listen to the radio (we rented a car). I think I heard Maroon 5's "She Will Be Loved" about 8,000 times in three days. And I never liked that song in the first place.
I don't understand what's so bad about US staffers missing a free Maroon 5 gig, but obviously I'm in the minority. Songs About Jane has sold nearly 3 million copies, and the band was recently named Billboard's Digital Artist Of The Year.
So ... Maroon 5: good or bad?
Funnily enough, today at lunch while we discussed how much we disliked Maroon 5, the lead singer walked by! It was my first time eating in the Conde Nast cafeteria, where rock stars roam the halls apparently.
