Yesterday, in their latest goofy publicity stunt, the Flaming Lips successfully attempted to break Jay-Z's record of the most shows anyone's ever played in a single day. One of those shows was in Biloxi, Mississippi, and the band took that moment to debut a new song called "You Lust," a Phantogram collab that's likely intended for their next album. The song is a tense 11-minute psychedelic throb, with Sarah Barthel's flighty vocals nicely offsetting Wayne Coyne's gruff whimsy, and it reminds me of Stereolab at their furthest-out.
