Janine Rostron, who's been recording conceptual dance music for years as Planningtorock, now has her own imprint on DFA called Human Level. And the first single on Human Level is a jittery, twerked-up humanist anthem called "Patriarchy Over And Out." It's the sort of track where muted drum-machine thumps and itchy violin scratches coexist alongside sweeping calls for societal change. Listen below.
