Matthew Friedberger Matricidal Sons Of Bitches Details

Fiery Furnace Matthew Friedberger will follow up his six-LP Solos project this fall with another high concept affair called Matricidal Sons Of Bitches, a project largely influenced by the films of Poverty Row. As the label writeup puts it, it's "a horror movie made so economically that the film itself is unneccesary." Friedberger himself explains the project -- which consists of 45 tracks sequenced as movements -- over at Thrill Jockey's website, not that that will help you guess what Matricidal Sons Of Bitches might sound like.It's out 10/30 on Thrill Jockey.
