Adult Swim's Squidbillies attracts a pretty high caliber of guest -- Todd Barry, Lucinda Williams, Chad Ochocinco -- so really, Lambchop is just one more. The Nashville band handled the show's theme song on last night's episode; the lovely dulcet voice of Kurt Wagner crackeled through the speakers as Early Cuyler grappled at the car radio with his tentacle. The track was originally written and perfrmed by Billie Joe Shaver, and has been covered for the show by the likes of Band Of Horses, so Lambchop don't make the song more bleak or depressing than usual, really -- they just bring to it their own shade of bleakness and depression.
