Neil Young has Crazy Horse out on a North American tour stretching from now until December, and "Twisted Road" is one of its brand new set pieces. It features Neil solo with acoustic, singing about some titans from his record collection: there's a verse about the first time he heard Dylan's "Like A Rolling Stone," some lines about listening to the Dead on the radio, references to Sam Cooke's "Good Times," etc. A song about being a fan of songs, from the tour's Red Rocks stop:
