People Get Ready is the Brooklyn quartet of Steven Reker, Luke Fasano, James Rickman, and Jen Goma, whose knotty, shout-to-the-sky indie rock blossomed from a previously-standing arts collective the band members had formed (Fasano is also a former member of Yeasayer). They've been playing around some over the past few years, but now the group prepares to step into the light a little with their self-titled debut.
