Last night, Steven Patrick Morrissey brought his inimitable form of middle-aged swagger to the stage at Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, performing a frankly spectacular cover of Frankie Valli's song "To Give (The Reason I Live)." As an online bonus, he also trotted out his 2006 song "You Have Killed Me." He dressed in some sort of bohemian lounge-singer ensemble, while all the members of his backing band wore matching T-shirts with "THUG" written on them. It's a thing to watch, and it's below.
Morrissey doesn't have any new records coming out, but he does have a tour launching soon, which seems like a good enough reason to show up on Fallon.
