In case you're curious about the hyper-verbose L.A. rap underground that must've, on some level, helped to set the stage for Kendrick Lamar, here's a pretty great example: Longtime underground mic-rippers Busdriver, Nocando, and Open Mike Eagle going absolutely insane over a jittery synthetic monster-beat. Busdriver rhymes "witch house" with "yo bitch house." Nocando grunts disgustingly and says, "My swag sharted." Open Mike Eagle calls himself "the Marc Maron of dark-skinned art barons."
