The latest in Dan Deacon's long, long line of goofy projects: Wish Book Volume 1, a Girl Talk-style set of digital DJ blends, one that finds room for Lightning Bolt and Brian Eno alongside Gary Glitter and Skrillex. The first song is called "Gangrimes Style," which is a not-bad indicator of where this thing is coming from stylistically. The twist: Rather than using two or three songs at once, Deacon gradually adds more and more until it sounds like what might be playing over the PA in the Sam Goody in the deepest depths of hell.
