This year, Brooklyn-via-SF polyglot dance/rock travelers Lemonade released their somewhat bummed out, fluid and R&B-laced LP Diver. It contains one of the songs of the year in "Neptune" (see also Dev Hynes's memorable cover). It also contains "Ice Water" & "Big Changes," a pair of tracks which the band asked their friends to remix. The result is here, streaming below: seven redos of two Diver standouts, in celebration of the year in Lemonade.
Diver is out via True Panther. In further celebration, the band is playing their last show of the year tomorrow (Saturday 12/15) at Glasslands. $10 admission gets you Lemonade, Rush Midnight, and a DJ set from their label's proprietor, Dean Bein. Details are on Facebook.
