Today, My Morning Jacket frontman Jim James releases Regions Of Light And Sound Of God, his first-ever proper solo album. And last night, he appeared on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon to pimp said album. In a beautifully staged performance, he sang the album’s elegantly floating single “A New Life” with the Roots, a small orchestra, and a trio of marching-band drummers backing him up.
