Breeders Last Splash 20th Anniversary Edition Details
4AD has announced details for the 20th anniversary reissue of The Breeders’ Last Splash. The anniversary reissue LSXX will be released on April 23 and is available two ways: as a limited-edition seven-disc vinyl box set, or as a three-CD pack.
The vinyl box set includes a Last Splash 12-inch; four 10-inch EPs from around the time of Last Splash; a live concert album 12-inch recorded in Sweden in 1994; a 12-inch of a BBC radio session recorded in 1993 and the original Last Splash demos. The package also includes a 24-page booklet of photographs documenting the recording of Last Splash and two years of touring, plus words written by band members, Kim Gordon, J Mascis, and others.
In support of the reissue, the band will tour the world together this spring. It’s the first time Kim Deal, Kelley Deal, Josephine Wiggs and Jim Macpherson have performed together since 1994. Full tracklist for the box set below, followed by all tour dates.
