Yeah Yeah Yeahs – “Under The Earth”
In this weekend’s New York Times Magazine, reporter Lizzy Goodman writes long about New York art rock luminaries Yeah Yeah Yeahs in anticipation of their upcoming album Mosquito. The online version of the article features an exclusive stream of slow burner “Under The Earth.” Like “Sacrilege,” the song features choir elements. It’s an interesting innovation for a band who started off with a shriek and continue to evolve with each new sartorial choice Karen O makes. Check out the song here and hear more new material from their performance at NPR’s SXSW showcase.
Mosquito is out 4/16 via Interscope.
