We've been listening to the Denver-based electronic musician Travis Egedy -- otherwise known as Pictureplane -- since naming him Band To Watch back in 2009. His latest release, "Pure War," debuted on the soundtrack to the forthcoming video game Injustice: Gods Among Us, the same album that will feature Killer Mike's "Villain." "Pure War" is well suited for a DC-comic fighting game -- the swirling synth lines, hard-hitting snare, and inevitable drop paired with Egedy's whispery vocals make the track undeniably epic.
