Watch Foo Fighters Cover Rush At Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame Inductions
Last night, after years of fan grousing, the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame finally inducted Rush into its hallowed halls, alongside Public Enemy, Donna Summer, Heart, Randy Newman, Albert King, Lou Adler, and Quincy Jones. And to mark the occasion, the Foo Fighters dressed up in blidingly white kimonos and wigs to cover the mythic prog trio’s “2112 Overture,” before the genuine article joined them onstage for “Tom Sawyer” and “The Spirit Of Radio.” Watch deeply shitty fan-made videos of the “2112 Overture” performance and Dave Grohl’s induction speech below.
Read more about the ceremony over at Rolling Stone. And if these videos make your brain hurt, wait until the whole ceremony gets broadcast 5/18 on HBO.
